COVID-19. The social justice movement. Huge events are bringing more eyes to editorial journalism than ever before.

In fact, more than just news sites are covering these events. We are seeing changes in our society, and publishers, regardless of category, are covering this progress. 

However, many brands are utilizing strict keyword block lists.  Some advertisers are focused on surrounding user-generated content. Others use caution in showing up on pages with news. These practices threaten the free, fact-based journalism that keeps society informed and democracy healthy. 

The Editorial Endeavor is here to educate advertisers on better targeting practices that take context into account. We want to help brands support articles that feature public health topics and promote diversity, while blocking misinformation and hate speech.  

The Endeavor is dedicated to supporting professional journalism. For every $1,000,000 of revenue run through Editorial Endeavor, we will be giving back $50,000 to organizations that support fair, investigative, and informative journalism.
